Here is a link to the Washington Trails Association page regarding the recently enacted WA State law SB5622 that provides for a three-agency trail and parking permit, called the Discover Pass:

The “Discover Pass” that will be needed to park at Washington State Parks, Department of Natural Resource lands and Department of Fish and Wildlife lands. This pass will cost $30 annually, or $10 per day, and will begin on July 1, 2011.
I suspect that this parking permit will be available at Bi-Mart, but call first to make sure (unless you’re already there). If someone does confirm that location or any others, please let me know, and I’ll pass the word on.
Also, club riders had a very pleasant day at the Beverly Dunes on Wednesday, and will be heading out today to the China Hat area. Send me any photos you get, as I will be helping out at the Milwaukee Rail Trail Endurance Ride at Boyleston.
